Custom MPQ archive!

I want to make use of my own MPQ archive for my map. But I don't know for sure if that is possible. I know that a map it self is an archive.

You cannot host map that are larger then 4 MB in size. When I can use an customly maded MPQ archive, that somehow is linked to a specific map. I'm aware of the fact that map transfere is not possible with custom MPQ archive that is not in the map itself. Yet I want it to make so anyway.

Has anyone tried to do this or something close to it? Did it worked out? What problem did you get?

I haven't but because a custom MPQ does so much space, it needs to be turned into a big MOD.
For example - The Tales of Ravigion (someting like that) overwrites blizzard's mpq and turns it to something new, not to mention its not downloaded by people on battle.net but downloaded on sites.
