custom minimaps and loading screens

im not sure if this is the right forum but anyways.

i would like to know what programs i would need to go about making my own custom minimaps and loading sceeens, where i can dl, if they cost money, and so forth, and then how would i use these programs to go about making custom minimaps and loading screens?
