[General] Custom Map ruined after patch 1.31.0

So a while ago I started creating my own map and making my own custom heroes. I am generally pretty new at this but I made something I was pretty proud of and I enjoyed playing with my friends.
However with this recent update the entire thing is ruined, and I mean strings from spells and units switched around. Icons not existing. Generally everything is different and doesn't work.
I have no idea what caused this or if this is even fixable.
You guys have any idea how to fix this or is my map just doomed?

Your map is definetely doomed. We're all expecting blizzard to throw up a hotfix for this issue.
I advice you to read patches update here on hive before editing your maps, could prevent a lot of trouble.

I actually found an older version of my map on my laptop because I hadn't updated warcraft on there. So that's super lucky I guess.
do you think after they fix it I can import it in the new patch?
I will keep on eye on the news here, thanks

Had the same problem with a custom campaing I was working on. Completely ruined. Fortunately, I have backups so the damage is not permanent. Always keep several backups of your work.
