Its a bug. The map script contains a camera that doesnt exist. I dont know why it happens but it happened to me with regions when deleting them and then using ctrl + z. What I did was close the editor and start from the latest save.

thanks for your input, turns out I could select the non-existing cameras and delete them, so I did just that and now map is fine.
