Hello!

I need help coloring a laser. My experience in graphics stretch as far as stick figures, and theyre not very good either.

It took me 6 hours just to move the Z, meaning that my knowledge is extremely limited. You dont have to edit the file, your opinion or tips and tricks is more than enough. I have tried a bit myself and this is my best result so far. Perhaps I am just picky.

I had this in the very beginning when I was trying to understand how everything worked but in my trial and error process to replicate it from scratch it didnt work out. Well, its still here but copying the settings doesnt seem to cut it. I just dont understand why I am not getting the same result. This screenshot is from a model I just modified (with some help of the author).

Thanks in advance!

I think it's fine, you can stack and recolor it in the editor anyway so saturation and color aren't an issue.

Stacking effects was my goto before but it is taxing on perfromance, even if it isnt noticeable. Unless you meant in the model editor because thats waaaaaaay out of my depth.
Anyway, I kept on tweaking and testing and end up with this. I am fairly happy with it actually.
