Closed Map Threads

Why is this even allowed? Users can't rate a map without commenting on it and they certainly can't comment if the thread's been closed. At least the +rep works there.
Aren't moderators supposed to ban users and/or modify/delete their posts if they misbehave?

I don't think that applies/should apply to map threads too.

I am just saying that it isn't the map creators' fault.

We had some issues with a bug a few years ago where resource threads were closed unexpectedly.

Can't remember what caused it (iirc it was updating a rejected resource or something), and I can't say for sure that's what caused it for this one specifically.

But I can say we don't close them manually. Not even on request. I opened this one. If you come across any more, use the report function and we'll open them up.

If you delete your resource, the thread is closed. When you update the resource it gets undeleted but the thread remains closed. Bug is still there I believe.

It is. I recall some people still use this 'glitch'.

Kinda agree on this one but I'm sure that won't be the case in the Hive 2.
