Cliff tileset change possible?

Hello ^^ is it possible to change the cliff tile ? I need an icey one and a cliff with grass on it ^^
WE says it isnt possible, but there might be a trick to it ^^

You have to change the base tileset.

Download World Editor Unlimited. It's the only way I think. BUT, some people do not trust WEU because it has been known to corrupt maps. So if you use it always be sure to back up your map. Maybe more then one backup.

k thx there isnt a base tileset that has snow/ice and grass as a cliff in it

I too have been wondering how to do this. I know WEU can do it, but it crashes when I open maps I've made in the past or crashes while I make them very often. So I prefer to go old school and work with the original editor the game (Warcraft III) came with.

Funny I never used to have a problem (Probably around a year ago, or less), I am going to use WEU tomorrow to test all these accusations against it.

WEU doesnt help, it does add the new cliffset, but if you place it somewhere on the map it will create the old tileset or looks REALLY bad ^^
obviously there is no way to do it, so i have to terrain differently ;/

Just change the base tileset (under advanced in normal world edit) to one with the appropriate cliffs and change the rest of the tiles to the ones you want.

You might be able to do it by skinning the cliff tile into what u want .

yeah that is most probably what i will do, but due to the lack of tilesets with Green grassed cliffs AND snow cliffs, im still searching for a better possibility^^

Umm... dude, you need to edit the map in WEU, in WE your new cliffs look the same as the old!

If you're trying to change it's skin, download a valid cliff skin and the import it. The path should be: "ReplaceableTextures\Cliff\Cliff1.blp"
I think that's the right path.

at least in theory the option is there ^^ with the WEU, link can be found somewhere up.
it is said that it is not stable though so always have a back up of your map
