Click ability to get Quest

How can I make a blank ability on an NPC that the player has to click to get a quest?
So far the only ability that I managed to get it to work is based on Reveal (from Goblin Laboratory) but it tells you to select a target to cast it. All other abilities I used as base are not showing in the NPC.

"Charge gold and lumber" should be a good spell for that . Don't forget that the quest-giver needs the "Select Unit"-ability as well.

I can't make it work...
I put the 'blank ability' on the unit.

Then making a Trigger
-Unit begins casting an ability
-Ability being cast Equal to 'Blank Ability'
-Do <this and that>

but clicking it does nothing. :/

did you already base the ability to 'Charge gold and lumber' and give the NPC an ability called 'Select Unit' as ap0calypse said ?
and could you please show us the triggers you made ?
and also try changing the event to 'Unit starts the effect of an ability' instead.
