Just wtf? thats where I find online players for d3. It made my d3 runs easier. Why block it from non members?

Clan Gaia on east restricted? wtf?

Just wait a bit. My guess is that the patch which reverted old clans has something to do with this, and this isn't the norm.

Are you sure it's simply, noone is in the channel? Soul is currently running the Clan_Gaia bot on his laptop and I'm sure he doesn't have it on 24/7. Warcraft 3 clan channels are always restricted to non members if the channel is empty, so a member would have to be in the channel to actually make it "active" in order for non clan members to join the channel.
Solutions?
• Join the clan on your account so you can avoid that problem.
• Type /who clan gaia to see if anyone is in the channel.
The only time clan channels are actually restricted with clan members still in it is when the chieftain issues the command to lock down the channel, but I doubt Soul would do that.

I noticed today when I logged on that clan gaia was reverted back to before when all the clans were removed. As a result we have 100 members yet again. This could mean that members who had been in the clan are probably removed to replace the old members who used to be in it and thus not allowing you in the channel for some apparent reason. I'll try to resolve this

I don't know exactly what Blizzard did, but it does seem like something Soul said, the list of the members seems to be how it was before they disbanded wc3 clans. I went and removed all of the members whose "Last Online" via the BNet webpage was 50 days or more, seeing as the remake of the clan wasn't longer than this.
Hopefully this'll give more room for players to get back into the clan, and hopefully the list doesn't reset again...
