Zoom in more, focus on the white area and the front of the cigarette where it gets lit by a lighter, then make the smoke from that.

Better but like this, i meant, add a light source and zoom in more.. maybe more than i did, warcraft icons are bold and too the point, and high contrast, so do something like this. Also, redo the smoke make the movement better pleasing.

Nice, but I think I want to show the cigarette filter. Maybe I zoomed it a little bit. Some blizzard icon don't have any glow but a colored rim light.

Ok, in that case maybe zoom in so the filter is visible, fix the smoke a little bit maybe instead of the skull just have regular smoke coming up?

Nice idea!
Well, I think decreasing the color strength, a bit more shading, making some background blue color style, a red or dark red rim light, a bit more contrast and clearing the spots and objects would help this icon. Just my thoughts.
