Of course you can. Go to Object Editor and set the max and minimum size of the doodad. Then place the doodad, and doble click it. There you can modify X, Y, Z of the doodad however you like.

Selecting the doodad and pressing + or - increases/reduces a property (I think all of them equally).

If you press RePag and AvPag, you can increase/reduce the heigh.
