[Spell] Changing source ability

I'm pretty sure the answer to this question is no, but I figure after years of doing things the hard way I might as well ask if there's an easy one.

Let's say for arguments sake I have a custom ability based on Shockwave with a bunch of fields filled out, tooltip, mana cost, cooldown, etc, etc. and I want to change that ability to instead be based on the very similar Carrion Swarm. Is there any sort of shortcut at all for doing so rather than making a new ability and copying over every field? I know you can use auto-fill levels but particularly tooltips can be a pain.

I know in many cases you should probably just have used Channel instead in the first place, but bear with me here as there are a few types of abilities it's not super practical for.
