I actually forgot about this place....

I have a couple of screenies of when i went there at level 49.

The funny rock with the spiral on it is the gate. There is a large dragon guarding it but i dont have any screenshots of him yet :(

Eeeerm, lets see.... Its located in Tanaris, bottom right of Kalimdor.

Its going to be comprised of 3(?) wings in the Expansion. Two will be 5-man wings and therell be another 25-man one. Dont have the levels on them but the 25-man one will be level 70.

5-man - Not sure on this but i think you get to help thrall escape Durnehold(sp?) Keep. (Tarren Mill in Arathi Highlands(Azeroth or Eastern Kingdoms))

5-man - You will help medivh open the dark portal. even though opening the dark portal was bad, a disruption in time by a being could result in far worse things than the orcs coming into azeroth.

25-man - You will fight archimonde at the world tree. Go from base to base as they fall. Finally you will kill archimonde!

Thats all ive got. Do a bit of searching and you should come across something good.

Yeah the fact that in the next expansion after BC you'll be able to fight the lich king (its inevitable to happen folks) so Blizzard is content and seemingly pleased with retardifying the storyline set by the other warcraft games to give the whiney 12 year old WoW players something extra-fun to do.

@Shados: I have read different and remember.... Thrall, Jaina and all those others WILL BE THERE. The 25-man raid will not take him down themselves.

<***SPOILER***>
You do realise that Archimonde dies in Reign of Chaos. The wisps swarm him and kill him.

EXACTLY!!! He get's killed by the WISPS, thereby making it so that the Night Elves will slowly lose their immortality and power over nature! If the wisps hadn't detonated so close to the tree and in such numbers it wouldn't have been as damaged!

THOSE WISPS WILL BE THERE! ALL THOSE NPC's IN WC3 THAT WERE AT MOUNT HYJAL WILL BE THERE! The only thing i suspect will be different (the reason for going back to that point in time) is because something else tries to stop everyone killing Archimonde.

Although it may seem they are retardifying wow by making us able to destroy bosses of epic preportion, you have not considered the lore behind it.

NO, YOU have not considered the lore behind it! Did you even read what I wrote? THE NIGHT ELVES ARE LOSING THEIR IMMORTALITY AND POWER OVER NATURE BECAUSE THE WISPS EXPLODED SO NEAR THE WORLD TREE, if you killed Archimonde instead of the wisps the tree would not be so damaged and therefor the Night Elves would not slowly lose their immortality and power over nature, and they would not have created their second "world tree" and they wouldn't have gone back in time to kill Archimonde and... and... basically uber-time-paradoxes would riddle the WoW universe! Or they'd be thrown into a parallel timeline where Archimonde had been killed by players and other stuff.

Thats true and I don't mind fighting Archimonde THAT much since he dies anyway and you're just part of a larger force thats trying to kill him. What bothers me though is the way that Blizzard is going in terms of players being ble to kill stuff that should be immortal or level 500 or something. Example: the firelord in MC should be immortal. I'm betting eventually you'll be able to kill Arthas/Lich King which would really suck because this is insanely powerful stuff that puney level 60's shouldn't be able to mess around with, no matter how many there are.

Thats the only thing I fear, and Blizzard has hinted at it in several interviews. The fact is though, they want Arthas to be truely badass so you'll have to wait till your level 100 to even attempt taking him with a 25 man raid. Regardless, he shouldn't be able to be fought.

Haha. actually, I agree with poison. Not much players would care about wc3 lore, they're just here to kick powerful badasses or monsters. Just like some people, who only go B.net to play dota and dont appriciate other maps. When you ask DotA-only players about warcraft history etc. They go 'what's that?' Simmilarily, most of the WoW players say, argh heck the lore/history, I don't care, lets just kick butt and have fun.

Exactly and thats why it disappoints me so much because I absolutely love the serious approach Blizzard took to creating a deep woven story that intertwines in and out of the lore that they created, it was brilliant. It's just a damn same they had to let that go to waste by fucking with it for the good of all the WoW n00bs who, exactly as you said poison, just want to kick ass and have fun. And naturally since you can already kill an immortal firelord, why stop there thought Blizzard? Arthas is the most badass being you could possibly kill (aside from some burning legion beasties, but they aren't part of the story yet) so once players get to be level 100, lets throw him out there and see how they do.

Yeah my friends been in there. Pretty cool but nothing really special since Bc is gunna be out in like a month...it was cool like 5 months ago when peple were first doing it, but now that were so near to the Bc launch date I think Blizzard doesn't really care anymore. The first one was a mage blinking through the portal and got all kinds of video of BC stuff but that was back in like April and Blizzard fixed it a couple of days later so...
