Catmen are mainly reffered as the Deusdali

The Deusdali in general

They are the mortal creations of the Deusdali gods and live in the south. Deusdalians are very reclusive, for they have as little interest to leave as others have to enter. They dislike talking with other beings than Deusdalians and are often misunderstood. Some would say that they have no sense of humour, but the truth is that the have a different wiew on it. There are no rules regarding relations which often leads to one Deusdalian having several partners. Therefore you can expect an average catman family to include one catman, about three wives, and 8 children.

Biology

A catman lives an average of 9 catyears (about 65 years) and becomes about 2.5 metres tall (guess that's about 8 feet). They have a tail, fangs, claws, and their light fur gives protection from a sun, which would usually fry a human in minutes. They mainly eat and drink animalic products such as; meat, milk and cheese because their stomachs cannot digest starch and cellulose.

Political system

Many Deusdalians rules in threeunities since the tragic events of Misabilis reign. Most threeunities are ruled by three brothers, but sometimes other politically experienced Deusdalians are brought in. Nothing is decided until the unity have come to a consencis, but it rarely happens that they get stuck. It is also written that the oldest brother's sons ar the ones to take lead in the future. However some Deusdalians disagree to the reign of threeunities. They claim that they should have no leading govenenant (also known as anarchy). But their lands are riddled with crime and injustice, since noone else have the power to stand up to them.

History

In ancient times, Deusdalians were ruled by their gods or demigods. But in time only demigods remained in the mortal realm, until the tragic events regarding Misabilis reign (see The Deusdalum). After that the gods did not trust any demigod to rule, so they took them to their realm Filindris, and to ensure none could wreak such havoc as Misabilis did, they decided that all Deusdalians should be ruled by threeunities. However, that did not last for long. A catman called Ergundlis followed Misabilis footstep and began conquering the catmen lands, but the other catmen were prepared and managed to end his rule. After that, there had been no more civil wars after that. But conflicts between nations still occured, although there were few of them because of how undesired their lands were to humans, elves and wretched.

The first war was against the crescent elves. It started when the Deusdalians were accused of the murder of their high priestess Landiralla. It ended after three weeks when the wretched made their first appearance with priestess Landiralla as their leader. The Crescent elves apoligized for their accusations fought together with the Deusdalians to irradicate the Wretched. They were however not easily defeated as Landiralla escaped with a few necromancers to rebuild their undead horde. The Crescent elves and the Deusdalians became allies that they still are to this day.

The second war was against the valkurian queendom which started with the valkurians declaring war upon the Crescent elves. The Deusdalians did not wish destruction upon their allies and sided with them. On that day, the strength of their kin would not be forgotten. The valkurians were forced to make peace and pay a heavy debt.
