You know when you hit attack or any (targetted) spell, but don't select a target yet? The targetter/crosshair that appears to let you select the proper target? That's what I mean.

You mean like shockwave? It can both have target unit and target ground.

O2's onto what I need. I tried to do it, and it didn't exactly work. I want it to press the spell, but not choose the target.

but may not work properly on online play

You force a player to press a key
for example
make a firebolt spell and give it B hotkey
create some unit with firebolt ability
Selection - Select Last Created Unit for Player 1 (Red)
Force Player 1 (red) to press B key
and you should see crosshair for targeting enemy

Then that's what you need. Match the force UI key with the Hotkey of your spell.

My game is indeed intended for online play. Forcing UI keys matching the hotkey hasn't worked thus far. I will try again, and update on progress. Thanks so far, let's see how it goes.

doing it without some problems caused by order sync delay is not so possible
you have to join blizzard and release a new patch that has functions to do it from a local machine
and for that it will need local triggers and local actions

So, it's impossible? I believe I saw a map out there (and yes, it was protected) that always had the targetting cursor/target selector instead of a normal cursor, though every time you clicked it changed back and forth between that and the normal cursor for a brief moment. So a solution that wouldn't work is to permanently change the cursor default image.

Yes it's protected and yes it does this, however his script is open source. You can download it on the TcX website.

TcX is different
its default mouse crusor changed as aim cursor
and mouse buttons are swapped so it recodnise left click as right click and shoot action is based on move order

Nah, I've definitely seen the default cursor (with correct race hand) in that game before. Unless it's different in the new version?

If you left click in game it shows the hand for a split second, are you sure it's not just forcing UI?

No, O2, you're wrong. You can't detect left clicks if you don't do what Toadcop did. I've found a solution, anyhow, for auto-forcing UI keys:

Toadcop or whoever advice me - Wc3campaigns

Anyhow, all the was missing was a wait action. Case closed. Thanks for everybody that helped.
