Hullo. Asking here since I can't find any information elsewhere...

I am unable to see the maps within the game when I go to browse the directories. They are physically there, just don't show up in game. I managed to get the human/undead/orc ones showing up by opening each .w3x file in turn in World Editor and resaving them. However, this doesn't work for the Night Elf maps. From what I can tell, it uses a 3rd party tool (zinc?) for some scripting, and I can't seem to find that anywhere...

Any ideas? I do have the latest version of WC3. Is there some 3rd party tool I need to be using within the game?

(By the way, damn good job on this project.)

Some of the night elf maps are saved with JassHelper (which parses ZINC and vJASS into plain JASS2), included in JNGP. Make sure the path to the maps isnt too long otherwise Wc3 wont show them. Try shortening the folder names withing your Maps folder. IIRC, the total path must be 256 characters or less in order to be played (not entirely sure how it worked).

Thanks, that did it. Of course when I was resaving them I was also renaming them which put the path names just under the character limit. Following the same naming scheme, the night elf map path names were just a few characters too long.

Derp.
