can't pick up item

cant use the healing salve in arena during squire class change q and this applies to the hunter's net to catch boars too, it says "your class cant use this item" when i wanted to equip

Just download 1.2A(7) version of map, load ur char, do quest, save, load ur char in 1.2A(8) and keep playin'.

It's a bug that came with the overhaul of the internal item registry. It's going to be fixed in the next version. Until then, I recommend doing what SHBlade suggests.
