So I can't LAN on Warcraft 3. Both computers are wirelessely connected to a Local Area Network (LAN) within the same house with no apparent problems.

- Both computers have the same Warcraft 3 version.
- Firewall is disabled on both computers.

When I host on one computer, the game does not show on the other, so I cannot attempt to join it. What am I doing wrong?

Both computers are running Windows 7. Under "Change Advanced Sharing Settings", network discovery was already enabled on both computers.

Under System, both computers are within a Workgroup named WORKGROUP. I assume this is what your asking for?

Neither computers are in a "Homegroup" (a thing for file sharing. I don't think this is necessary however?)

Huh. I tried various ways to get us playing together again. Tried using Hamachi, Tunngle, altering networking settings, windows repair tools, etc, etc. Turns out it just needed a simple router reset.

Damn, the solutions was far more simple than I anticipated...haha
