Hello,

I'm having an unusual problem concerning changing the range of a tower. I change the Combat - Attack 1 - Range field the value I want but the range remains at its default value no matter what :S ... Am I missing something out?

Thank-you

I'm willing to bet you forgot to change the Acquisition Range along with the Attack Range.

Try changing the Acquisition Range higher if you haven't already. Because that's, you know, kinda important.

As Caedrus says, you need to also change the "Acquisition Range".

The Acquisition Range is the range at which your unit can pick a target. For a melee unit, you generally set this to around 500, as this means it will pick a target that far away and move to engage it.

For ranged units, you will probably set the acquisition range to about 100 more than the actual range of the unit. For towers, just set it equal.

For obvious reasons, a unit cannot have more range than acquisition range as it won't be able to target something further away than it can acquire a target.

Also, a unit cannot acquire a target that is hidden by fog of war.
