Can non-orcs ever build like orcs?

The only way I can make my custom units build in the fashion of the orcs (entering the building) is by changing the builder's race to Orc.

Is there any other way to change the building style of a unit without changing its race?

Thank you for your time.

Easy as pie, just copy an orc worker, change his model to whatever you wish it to be, then add your buildings to him.
Edit: Ah you already did that. Well, it's the only way I know of...

kj i think you misunderstood my question, and thanks for trying shadow ;)
(a peasant can build an orc building, but he wont enter the building to build it unless his race is changed to "Orc")

This is the question:

Is there any other way to change the building style of a unit without changing its race?

In World Editor Unlimited, there were a few special skills. Among them, there were the building abilities. I don't know what changing them results in (besides the fact that they have a different building method), but perhaps you could give it a try.

Sure. If you hit the link on my signature then it'll take you to my map page.

In my map all units can build. Worker-Types are the only types that can build most buildings, but there are "Base Camp" buildings that military units can construct (The idea is that your army can set up a camp for some small combat bonuses, and to construct siege engines right outside the enemy base)

The problem though, is that with human construction you can have a peasant start a building and then make him go away and my military units can come finish construction at a normal rate (i made their repair rate and powerbuild rate 0.01 so they'd be useless for powerbuilding)

The solution- i thought -was to have the military units have to ENTER the building they were working on so that they could not power-build or take over for a peasant.

I want to keep my race classifications within the race the unit is from... i don't want the human forces to consist of human workers and "orcs" as their army ><

EDIT:

You retarded dumbwit, can you seriously not think of a reason?

I believe there's a build ability for all labourers, change it from (human) to (orc). I might be wrong though I cba to open WE.

Seruk please don't flame in my threads- it makes me want to stop posting questions :( and yes you are wrong, and all ShadowMan did was ask a question because he's curious. There's nothing wrong with that.
