This seems so basic so I am sorry! But once again, I looked everywhere for help. This seems straight-forward; when you double-click a camera in the camera pallet, it shows you what the camera is seeing, right? So when the camera is applied in-game, that's what you should see?

I can make a camera and use a text trigger to apply the camera in-game This seems to work if I don't change the camera at all. But if I change the settings, like pitch, angle of attack, and I get the camera just how I want, then I view in-game, it is WILDLY off not even close--usually staring up into the sky.

Here are some pics. I used pitch-up to make sure I could see over the ogre's head for floating text. I used angle of attack to up-shot a bit. I also know the HD ogre model is taller than the SD model. But when I go in-game, the camera is pointing into the sky. I have tried this many times now and it keeps happening.

What is going on??

edit: I'm adding a third picture(top pic) of the camera object which you can see looks like it is pointing at the Ogre properly. But in-game it looks up into the sky.
edit #2: Now when I went back to my edit, and I double clicked the camera, I can SEE the camera object in front of me. How can I see the camera if I am supposed to be seeing through its eyes? I really don't seem to get this at all, I'm sorry :( help!
Adding pic of seeing the camera even though I'm supposed to be seeing THROUGH the camera. (the bottom pic)
