Buying a pen tablet.

So, I'm currently looking for a tablet, but I'm on a rather tight budget(I like being able to eat).

I can spend like 150$ on one..

I've looked at the Wacom Bamboo Pen tablet, but the workable area is rather small, only 92mm*147mm.

I'm curious if there's anyone here who knows about other tablets with good precision and pressure sensitivity, but with a larger workable area.

I heard that some people use an apple Ipad as a tablet, but it might not have the nescescary sensitivity seeing as it only needs to be made accurate to the nearest onscreen pixel.

ummm. i rather found large work area to be an inconvenience. the one at my uni has gigant surface area and that just meant i had to move my arms more to do the same thing.
