Something my friend and I are working on... We are getting pretty far!

Description:
Bug Warz - The new way to play dirty!
Version 0.63 Alpha

The world of bugs is equally enough tough to live in, if not more of a life of war. Now you have the chance to find out how tough it can be! Fight to the death until you are the last Queen standing.

Basically it is a strategy game where you play vs 6 people (if full house) as bugs. There are 4 races each with unique abilities. A good use of the Hero System. A lot of detail into the map terrain itself... We worked for days on that beast ;)

So far the version is at 0.63 Alpha representing 63% close to being official (I am professionals about my versions). I constantly update this and will try to submit dead lines (as my friend and I are limited on time so we are trying to get it done asap). We are very detailed with our work... Proof of it would be the huge folder cramped with notes, overviews, systems and lists of bugs / chores.

Some help we would need would be models and artists for the Icons.
  • We would need models make full use of textures (we want blizzard like) and the ability to communicate to us about there progress... ^_^ The models that we would need are different mixes of the Crypt fiend model (our base for the ants). A termite thing... plus different mixes of that for each class e.g. Worker, Queen/ hero, Main attacker, Spell Caster. And finally, a mix of the Carrion Beetle models.
  • The artist would be helping us with mixes or different coloring of the blizzard icons (Simple enough I can do it...). We will also need custom Icons for all of the races (Buildings, units, spells). And we will need the carrion beetle icon as I cant find that anywhere.... =]

I left the map open for 2 reasons:
  1. All of my trigger data is using the GUI of warcraft editor and I think some of the things I did in Bug Warz are pretty frikin awesome (for GUI). And I did it so that I can show off me 1337 skillz in the GUI... (I'm sure I am not the best but for learning everything on my own I think I am doing pretty good) =P
  2. Some times I have problems finding the glitch in my coding so for this purpose, up until I release an official version, the map will be open so that people can look over my work.

I decided to release my map to the public because I feel that I am getting to a point where I would need beta testers, and because many times I find that my coding gets a little bit weird. Also so I can get help on the models and Icons because I will need those pretty soon once I get a few more bugs fixed.

Questions and comments would be appreciated... =]

The one thing I would need from people downloading it would be any bug reports... I know theres a lot (like for example the egg is REALLY buggy for the spider race), but if I have a list of these bugs I can actually fix em... :)

And If anyone is willing, a hoster would be awesome cuz I cant host. When I mean hoster I mean someone who would be willing to host the game every now and then for me so that that guy, possible people I know, and just random people play. That way I can get ingame comments... Or just own em... either one! =)
That will probably be later though, when it supports all 7 people. After this post I think I will soon edit my previous one and list where I want to get to...

And btw, note on the spider egg problem. I am going to look into it tonight so if you hate that, just wait till tomorrow ;)

*bump*

Gonna update this soon in bout a week or so... The beetles and spider race are 100% done (of all known bugs) and then I will get started on the ants...

Once again I need modelers for the ants. I guess i can use a big lightning kodo beast as a replacement for my acid spitting ant but it doesnt quite match... :hohum:

The spec req's for modeling are up on my previous posts, so if any of you are modelers please answer or something. I am gettin desperate lol :zip:

Oh and I looked through my terrain and compared it 2 "hosted projects" and I think the layout of the map is detailed but the terrain itself is crap... anyone willing to help out on this?
