I woulden't choose a background at all.
Not a screenie icon because i know most of the hive people is not in favor with just screenies as icons.
Background looks like a real mess but i'd realy see a black background much better!
So black background and draw the whole icon from scratch instead .

Yea those outlines look pretty lame and cartoonish and most of icons for units don't have a background or have a teamcolorish color.

I have no clue what white lines ur talking about, on the wheels? I can give them a gray tint if you like.....
