Oh, hell. It's a useful addition to the set. The glow could seriously use more work but the blade is quite well made.

Anyways, looking good, but needs a bit more shading. And also, could you make the movement lines more prominent?

Yes there are. Those white lines at the sides of the blade. Sharpen those and darken...no, fill up the black portion of the blade. Then it'll look better.

The glow still needs a bit more work, as it's still too simple. Try to use darker/lighter red usage.

I'm sorry, but the glow could still use further details. Try to examine other icons of the similar sort, it really helps.
