I love this. You've made an icon based on -Grendel's model, which was based off of Shiik's skin. COMMUNITY!
That being said, it's kinda hard to tell where the face on your icon is. Then again, it's a little hard to tell where the face is on the model, so complaint? Not as poignant. : )

First up it's a bit blurry and looks like an amalgam. Then, an fitting icon doesn't necessarily need to copy the model in all its features (for that it could use a screenshot). Models are often low poly (rightfully), but for an icon we have an unlimited freedom of expression (artistically speaking). You can use your imagination a little. It's a stone sentinel, should look imposing, ruthless and not just like a boring stone ox.
