BTNStalker

The icon i use for my stalker model in my starcraft map, it is basically a shot of the model on top of a generic (hand drawn) background similar to that used in starcraft 2.
Zion007 requested me to upload this icon, so here it is.

Just like the stalker, this was made long before the beta, so there are no ripped elements whatsoever. It is hardly a marvel of art, but i think it is very useful and fitting for the model it is made for.

EDIT: OK, changed to wc3 border, original icons are attatched as "PAS" and DISPAS" icons.

EDIT 2: Somehow, the preview window still loads the original icon as BTN and DISBTN. I tried downloading it, and it does indeed include both regular border and starcraft border. So don't let the preview fool you.

i hope i'm not breaking any rules by not using the standard warcraft border, if this is below approvable, i might consider releasing the icon template by itself so that people can make their own.

i like the idea of using SC borders. after all, for SC map it only makes sense.

That is true but this is a war-craft site not a SC site, but well see what happens with this.

 I do not like it, sorry.
I couldn't instantly recognize the stalker on the first sight, the "viewpoint" is waay too distant. But that's just my opinion.

The SC borders, well duh it's a SC model after all.. But it may have been better if you put both sc borders and wc borders..Not in one icon, of course  . It may increase usefulness, without making people have to put the wc borders themselves.. You know what I'm sayin' ?

    1. View point is perfect. It shows whole unit, so you know what will you pick/get.
    2. That idea with putting both SC and WC borders is superb. I highly recommend of doing that.

I suggest you to upload the icon with its original borders. Then, as attachment or as pastebin-thingy, you should upload this one and paste it in the description or in the first post.

Yes, I think you could make it with original Warcraft borders and then Edit your first post and make an attachemnt with SC2 bordered icon there...

BTN and DISBTN could be normal WC3 borders, PASBTN and DISBTN could be SC borders.

Not bad actually, depicting the face is the most common perspective among wc3 icons. the color contrasts are pretty neat aswell.
I guess you can upload it if you like, mine didn't do as well as a warcraft icon as it did as a starcraft one.

The Stalker passive icon looks awesome, who cares if thats SC. We should care about the awesomeness and beauty of this icon.
