I like the current one. An icon for me doesnt need a too much detailed background like the 2nd one... the current one is fine.

Monotone. The brush strokes near that thing, whatever it is, should be smudged, or sharpened because it's hardly noticeable.

Bro, another suggestion here, I just did have a full view with the two icons of this. I have noticed that the second has a very realistic drawing of the gem. I suggest maintaning the icon's BG but using your second drawing's gem

I didn't say it was an artwork. You mean my review? It was visible in the icon, bad strokes in the big image are also seen. Sharpen them so they can be more detailed and add a better shading, because I don't know if there is still a sun.
