Advice, same as before, well, kinda more refined, here is an example

what I did, 5 mins:
I copied the dispas, layered it over the original, erased to make shadows
Changed the light curves in adjustments
added another layer,. added brhigtness effect, lowered it down with layer opacity

edit, a little bit more saturation:

Dont fear the darkness, it brings out the light

PD: I didnt touch the icon perse, your drawing is good, nothing to say about that

The icon is already quite readable in my opinion. You reduced color variation the original version has. Sometimes you need some background. Darkness doesn't have to always come in handy for definition.
