zombie2279: Zoom in on the orb and try to detail the middle, somewhat similar to the ones in Warcraft. It looks really lacking at the moment.

It`s... flat. Too flat. Also the lighting effect isn`t good at all. Make it more visible. Also add some colors to ball.

EDIT: Overall the whole icon needs more definition.

Big picture looks good, but icon doesn't.

Make sure that you work on the immage with same height an width like 500 x 500

As you see now orb should be like O but it's 0.

Also work in smaller resolution 256x256 or something simmilar.

Orb in the mid it's too pixelate for me. I can count pixels around it. Also imo you should work on lighting effects, those are so unreal.

I think you should do the lighting look more chain, make smaller the shine of the ball, and make darker the shine of it.

I like this icon a good bit. A good icon with good execution. It has a nice color scheme and fits WC3 well. Although it could use a bit more shading and it needs to lose the black edge around the orb.
