big pic looks great, but the stars inside dull the dark silouette, try with a darker blue for the star pattern

In my opinion this is your best icon yet, I really like this concept and the execution. Echoing the people above who mentioned the stars being less noticeable in the icon file, maybe a solution to this would be making the stars round on the big file. Anyway, the icon looks really cool and is really well done.

Oh, I recognized it now. I thought it's some sort of random silhouette at first. Those lines and stars made problems for me to see it's a wolf/animal I suppose. I think it would be better to remove them and shade the sides of the silhouette a little more. But that might be just me.

Agree with the lost of details when resizing.
My suggestion is make the line thinner and make the stars bigger or add glow to stars.
