the skin is very nice and creative, but this icon is so awesome that it outranks the skin :v
you could try giving the skin strong highlights like you have in this icon. (not sure if it's a good idea though, since they wouldn't be dynamic..)

Nice, try adding some light on the face to make it have more contrast. It looks good, else it just needs just a bit of saturation :3
