If that is a sword, proportions are way off. I would say, it almost looks like miniature sword.

Perhaps, you can use a low-angle instead front.
I would also suggest putting some fire to tip of the blade, slowly blazing through the fuller unless you want a flat flame background. Which still looks cool, but you should then render the particles a little more from bottom to top slowly fading away.

As @Belendor mentioned,the proportions look odd.It does not look like a sword.You could try a lower angle or lengthen the blade(though I doubt that's possible)
