that's useless, every icons already uses it, everyone is smart enough to take up an icon made by blizzard already and extract out the border. that's what i did when i was a noob, and i did that without any second-thoughts. this means, anyone less nooby than me, or noobier than me will think the same thing as me if they want the easy-to-get border. didn't you noticed every icons on wc3sear.ch have borders, even tho most people havent seen this icon?

reason i find it useless is cus all u hafta do to make your OWN template is obtain any-original warcraft icon, remove the inside n keep the outside, not that hard in my eyes. but it works i guess

I make DISBTNs, this way:
1. I have the BTN icon
2. Whit Photoshop i replace the border, whit a black sircle size 7.
3. I use the Burn Tool on mode Hidelights on the hole icon

It works perfectly

at my coputer this icon is only black and no image is on it... is my computer or the icon is only black?

No matter to use those icons. Download IconBorderPack.psd from THW or wc3campaigns.net and open it in Photoshop. Then, copy any layers onto your buttons.

Remember! Use alpha channel, 64x64 is a good resolution, photoshop is good and convert the icon the blp. also very important to remember these paths:

I used it, it just eliminates the step of extracting the border yourself. It's useful, despite what you jerks seem to think. There's nothing wrong with making life easier for people...

This is the perfect icon. It doesnt have to be for modeling. Im using it in all my maps for all my heros, and all of my units, exept for the black hole guy. Its just damn unfitting.
