Hmm I've got a little Screenshot of GIMP which i showed a friend...
don't know if you can really call this a WIP but thats tho only thing i've found

The wood of the chest was just brushed and the glow wasnt on the right position and cutted
Only the Iron frame was "good"
I hope this is enough as WIP image
And the didn't mirrowed it (it looks better how it now is, in my opinion )

Well if you don't have a wip than please post a big picture. It's nothing personal, and to be honest i highly doubt this is a CnP but it's the site rules. And we must follow them... to a certain extent. (Evil laugh)

Anyways i will only say the glow needs a better color for now. Will wait to see the big image

I actually did this Icon for a friend for a "Item-Magement" - Spell or so..
But which color would be better for you Somnium?
Stronger Gold? Blue? XD
BUt with the big image i really have to look... hmpf

WIP images are bullcrap. It's a shame you have to show so much work just to put an icon on a Warcraft III site.

A more saturated gold would look better. It's got like a dull yellow color, whereas gold is shiny and metallic.

Well what i meant is make it kinda more orange in the epicentre. So it looks a bit more like gold, since gold is actually not yellow when you look at it closly or see it reflect of something.

Edit: If you made it green, you can make it so the smoke drops out of the chest and falls down on the ground. Then it would be a poisoned chest

I already put more gold on the glow / increased the glow.
When I add more it looks ugly...

That's not exactly enough proof, you could have taken that picture from anywhere. Please submit a .psd or .xcf.

Also you said in the update you made the glow bigger, its barely noticable!
