enjoy: The thumb is too short. I think you should use some pictures for reference to your drawing.
The purple outline makes the whole thing blend a bit together, so you should instead use highlights and shading to define your drawing.
Instead of the purple outline, use a purple shading. You can find lots of tutorials on deviant art. Here is an example.

I think you did a good job on the fire, I just want you to move it a bit down and to the right, so it is behind more of the glove, just a bit.

I made a different version of this which I have attached here.
Initially I wanted to upload this as well as some energy/holy fist, but I was not sure it differed enough from the Fist of Fire icon. So here it is.

Tell me if you prefer this instead of the one rather than the uploaded icon.

^i'd have to agree. maybe because the color scheme fits very well. red/orange/brown
