There is no reason for any blood. Just because it is a impale spell doesn't mean that it has to be bloody.

For one no blood, and as for these two pictures i would say keep the lighter one because it would look more snowy.

But, you should just make more snowy spikes coming up from the ground and make them have creases so that you can recognize them.

the borders are kinda messed up. looking only like you darkened the BTN. use the button manager tool. its so much easyer..
