I made this icon for my spell "Frostfire Nova". I think it could be useful, because there are not so much frostfire icons and stuff.
This is remake of the original World of WarCraft icon, so change it to Blizzard's icon pls.

I think that the transition between frost and ice is just too sharp and harsh, you could make it smoother. Also, there are red snowflakes in the fire part of the icon - round them up to make them look like sparks.

It's a bit overcontrasted, lower the contrast a bit.
