Kimbo: Hmm..Sorry dude, but this icon just looks like ref furry bits. Atm, it's quality is not up to standards with the database. Please try to reference and look at other fire examples to get something that looks and flows like fire.

It reminded me of a campfire.
This would be more useful for those survival maps since it doesn't really look like a fire spell for me.
Nevertheless, It's a 4/5 for me.
Edit: You should probably make it have the Human category and any other race that makes campfires.

It looked more like a piece of red furry skin for me. Mainly because an actual fire is not needle shaped.

If it's needle shaped, it would looked like candle fires or stove fire where the fire would look like heading towards one point.

What I would suggest is take a reference from real life fires or wc3 icons.

You are right. This is actually my first experiment in painting fires. I've been looking into a googled image and for 3 hours been working hard on creating realistic fires. Ah! so difficult playing with the composition, light source, shadows and many other things to consider.
