Pyramidhe@d: I really wish you would draw some clean shapes now and then. Things with clear outlines and proper shapes.

Dunno if it will be accepted as i thougt, but try work more accurate. Looking on most of your work (mostly the faces), there is question, how you see the object, when you paint it. When you working on some shape try to move it, change angle for more correct representation and realisation of your idea. At the second icon is on ur sig there is feeling like you painting by some layers that has around 2 pixels distant difference and cuz of that on first layer is a head, on second layer is shoulders and neck. You got my idea? Next time try work more soft, dont add contrasts before the it needed to reach some sort of realistic deep. The second problem of each your icons (or most) - blurryness and overlightness. One of most troubles with a composition - disbalance of a light. Try reach a moment when you have same balance of light and dark. More light means more dark, less light - less dark. You can be original and don't apply this formula to the background but be sure, background is a part of composition :)

And about faces - try work more with bones and muscles, not with skin. And don't forget about 3D shape (that i saying looking on your orcfaces).

With best regards and no offense :)
