I dont rate it, unless you make a suitable background
The Claw itself is okay, exept that the claw isn't realy attached to the finger. There is something missing at the bottom side.

Yeah, looks better, though I would have prefered an orange background, but that's a question of taste.

It's good, but I think it's a little bright. I'd add more shadows to it.

That something good in this icon, and bad at same time. Finger is too thin, claw need some details (scratches of so). Color of finger is yellow? Is this Pyritie dragon's claw? lol
Finger have low shadings.

Ok, screw BG. Backgrounds are for powerfull items, shiny things and spells. This is an item (I think so). This icon may use none.

Isn't this just a re-colour from the "Rend" ability from WoW. In case you didn't know, it's when you are in the "Cat-form" as a Druid.

Post a WiP please, so hard to believe this is hand drawn.

After a quick "googling" I found out that I was a bit wrong, but not completely. First of all, this spell is called "Rake", not "Rend".
Second of all, this is not a re-color (thanx for that)

I still must sat that they look an awful lot alike. As mentioned earlier, please put up a WiP.

The only real difference between those 2 is that there both sharp pointy claws.

Anyway, you need to add better highlights.

I will fix the shadings later, and I will also add blood.

Wow, the blood work on the smaller right part of the claw looks very realistic as big image, would you tell us your secret how you did it?

Mhm well, opacity is around 70 and nothing else,
just drawn by eye

Those light effects in the scratches of the claw are very well made, good job there, but the small icon picture doesn't show the details of the large pic!
