The face looks like a child's toy, not menacing enough... okay so its not that bad but the edges are not well defined. And please make the handle more clear-cut. Also straighten the blade or handle so they are aligned, cause if you look closely the blade and handle are deformed relative to each other. This icon has the potential to be very good if more work is done on it. Keep it up

Muuuuch better. It would be more preferable if you darken the red parts and about the eyes...erm let's just say they aren't exactly desirable. But I think I'm just being nitpicky so it'll pass as useful.

EDIT: Another suggestion would be to change the color of the glow to something closer to blood red; it'll help differentiate the glow from the sword's handguard cause right now they're basically the same color. Any other color would do as well. In addition, add some reflection, glow and shading to the blade to make it feel more solid.
