zombie2279: Pretty basic, but I could only imagine this being better with overall reworking. Might be useful.

Mention the parts which are not hand-done.

Also, you should bring the guy more into foreground, he's hardly visible. Give him some highlights, and more visible colors, especially on his lower part.

As zombie mentioned, the unit itself blends into the background. Further highlights, and perhaps a small glow around the caster would adjust the focus properly on him.

Hmm, yea, the person should be brighten a bit. The rest is ok, but maybe you will make better effects on his hands (bigger, some contrasts between colors, etc).

That white glow around the lich totally ruins it. If you absolutely need to have a blurry glow like that, try making it fit the color scheme. I'd rather you just remove the glow completely and add a better effect, like a cloud of magic or something.

ye as i said im not happy with the results too.
there is one big problem: without glow u couldnt see his lower body part. with purple or blue glow u cant see the fire anymore as a fire, with other color is doenst fit the sheme. well i tried the alternative chains too, but that looked stupid too...

i think im gonna upload the original version again

If you can't see his body, up the brightness a bit on the lich, put some highlights, etc. Just don't do it with a glow...

This is a very unique icon slayer, good job, but here are some suggestions i didn't have on my review.
-Take off the glow of the lich, then re-size him and maybe clear him up a bit.
-Then, maybe add a glow on his hands as he is making some sort of ritual at the moment.
-And last id like you to maybe add something in the background looks a bit empty, just maybe a light glow not to heavy just a light one.
(Also, you don't have to use these if you don't want, Thank you.)

i think im gonna follow voids suggestion first, and gonna see how that looks.
and yeah the idea about the background is not bad, the point is i kinda lay the focus on that burning circle, but its not enough to fill an icon. im thinking of maby redoing the whole icon... it kinda doesnt fit my awesomeness standarts

Overall looks good, but the highlight on the lich may be too high, lower it down a bit and you still have to zoom in a bit so we can kinda see him but not that much if you know what im saying.

mhm i´d do buuut... with all the changes i did before i just made the icon worse... so i wont change this now, out of redoing the whole icon(what im gonna do sooner or later).
