Ah, it's not exactly what I meant. You pretty much got it wrong. Make the shading more realistic, not the lightning in focus, as seen here.

it deosn't correctly match wc3 is what hes saying.
and btw the artwork hardly changes in the game interface.
add some volume to the drawing and shade it. try not to make it look like a 2D figure. (i.e. dont have black lines surrounding the chicken)
and as zombie said, an icon has to be useful. if it is not usefull then it shouldn't be here.
the only thing i could see this in is in a comedy map (not many of those made) as a chicken swarm ability or a replacement for the chicken icon. which no one else really needs.
