Yeah the title is a bit confusing but the icons looks really nice, I can definitely thing of a few maps where it'd be a nice asset. It may not be a breath-taking icon but it is what it needs to be and it looks really good so it's a 5/5 for me at least. Though I'd still like to see Darkfangs input on reason behind the title name.

Yeah, by ripped off you mean taking an icon from AoE2 which is 32x32 resize it to 64x64, and then having to reshape it, make it look warcraft-ish, recolor it, add a lot of freehand and make it look good?
If that is ripped off then I think it is allowed, else you can go open your AoE2 and compare the icons before talking.
Well,I wouldn't say 100%. Probably 90% to 99% since uses a base image from the game Age of Empires 2 and making it nice and suitable with Blizzard standards.
