Paladon: You should give it a more "swordish-like" look. Putting the highlights in the lower part of the blade is not a good idea. The runes are okay, but you should define the line between the handle and the blade more (->shadings).
Approved since it may be useful and appears very clear and defined.
Fix the matters mentioned above for a higher rating.

Its kind of hard to tell its a blade... I dont think there is enough shading

More shading is definitely needed... and more contrast is needed in the runes. They sort of "blend" into the blade.
