Hero glow could be brighter, since I think it's not that visible, not that bright. I have a struggle with "Hero Glow Square" when making icons too sometimes.
Or changing from the light blue/teal color to something else when making "Hero Glow Square". Iron Fist Leader Gardon Bloodclaw's icon has red hero glow on it.

By the way, suberb quality icons you have! Well done. (Not just these, but overall)

I think there's certain icons that just don't work well with the hero glow, like even Blizzard originally excluded the glow on some of the icons, usually for the Neutral heroes. If the icon is filled with the artwork across all edges and the colors don't work well when overlayed with blue (usually warm colors don't), the hero glow on the icon is hardly gonna look good, and I personally would suggest using the icon without it in such cases.
