I put this in ported because its just a simple recolor and does not follow the main section rules.

• Recolours of a Third Party (i.e. Blizzard Entertainment) icon must have the Third Party (i.e. Blizzard Entertainment) as an author and require 50% freehand. Otherwise it should be uploaded in the Ported Icon Section and reviewed as "Useful/Lacking".

Not everything can be uploaded towards the main icon section , if you want to do small edits to things that may be useful then this is the section to do it in.

I mean this is 100% a simple recolor, no argument there, but why not edit the author instead of moving it here?

If I was looking for a recolor of an existing WC3 icon, this is the last section I'd take a look at. Well, after Reforged icons.

Yep. Ported material comes outside of Warcraft III.

any arguments go to @Footman16 the rules are there if youd not like to follow them or want to chime in i suggest going to him. Im not going back and fourth about it any longer with user who want to complain about were there icon goes. Not everything can be uploaded in the main icon section.

I mean we dont have a substandard section anymore so these icons will remain in this section due to the fact they may be useful and lacking in freehand therefore they can be kept here as useful/lacking. I dont see an issue with that.

That's the replacement of Substandard, Useful and Lacking. Icons in the regular/original section can be set to those.

Yeah as Panda said we've discussed this and we want to avoid people spamming the main section by making simple screenshot icons of a bunch of other people's work. The main section should be the place for art and actual hand made icons (within the freehand rule). To that end the Ported section is the appropriate place for people just making screenshots of other peoples work without any freehand or artwork.

What we can do is change the name of the Ported section, but ideally I think we want to delineate between handdrawn icons and screenshots that people have made without permission.
