BLP <-> TGA Converter

How does it work? When i start it it shows a black box for like 0,01 seconds then it closes.

It looks like a spyware or virus. It's a command prompt without any attempt of starting up :X

This program works really well. Converted some images I couldn't get to convert with Image Extractor II. Thanks.

To use it, it's easiest to just drag the file you want to convert onto the exe.

jsut get the blp file and tehn drag it onto the program, tehn the tga comes up where the blp file was. DUH
But how do u turn it bak in to blp?

its a COMMAND PROMPT converter, does not contain a GUI for you people, drag file on top or if u kno enuff with the command prompt, go to the path, type exe name, and give it the path to file

just drag the picture onto the icon that reads BPLconv. presto, you now have a copy of the picture you converted in the same folder as the other one, just with one small flaw, it flips the picture horizontally and vertically.

to get around this save your finished picture flipped in the first place, so it gets converted to look normal.

Ahh, hypocrisy. A quick read of all of their comments would tell you that the problem isn't that they don't know how to use the program once it's up, but that when it's executed, it near-immediately is terminated.

and one i test the map it just shows a black loading screen

that linked program had better work. This coverter easily makes blp into tga but not vice versa. The tga>blp part fails utterly. I don't even get anything from it. > This isn't very good.

The creator of it is the webmaster. So far, no response from him. I PMed him a week ago. Perhaps you should PM him and explain in detail what the problem is? And if you get an answer, please share it here.

to make it go back to BLP format delete the old blp format of the file and then drag-n-drop on the conv. there you go

the easiest way to convert... just drag the format you wanted to convert to the program then watch the contrast format get into the same folder where you kept the photo

Bah, I still prefer the viewer to this. In the viewer, you can select the quality you want, so you can get a lower size into your map.

Ok this isen't working I click and drag my TGA picture on the BLPconv.exe and nothing happen (the converter is in my picture folder if that help you solve my problem? Plus it's Windows Vista.)

Now that program works. This one just makes BLP to TGA even though it says vice versa. I tried to make a TGA into a BLP with this and it didn't do anyting. Get that program at Download TGA To BLP2 TGA to BLP 2 | World of Warcraft @ Curse.com for TGA to BLP conversion.

this tools is very easy to use:
1st simply drag ur stuff on it that u want to convert.
2nd normally it should make an other one but in BLP
3rd OMG THIS TOOLS IS REALY SIMPLE!!!

Sure, its quite poorly documented (how hard is it to put a readme in there that says to drop .tga's on the executable?), but, it works really well. There's really almost no way of messing it up.

In other news, its one of the most efficient programs I've used. It does the work, and it does it quickly. What more can you ask for?

Yeah, I've noticed all the tools I've downloaded from thehive lately have failed miserably, this one as well. And yes, I read through all the comments and even made a folder all by itself for this program and brought the picture to get converted and it honestly does not work at all.

Dont tell people theyre wrong for saying it doesnt work dor them and yes i looks like a virus to me but the problem is that it doesnt work on Vista or any thing other than Xp wich is said in the descrpition!

Actually it doesn't work for my computer which is an XP so yeah, its not just Vista
