Blizzard/WoW icons

I see some WoW icons uploaded once a while, but i wonder
why not just upload all the icons?

Some people try ... but they quit ... because they get bored.

But it's allowed then? i thought maybe cause its not allowed for models, its also not allowed for icons

Most WOW icons originate from WC3Sear.ch. About the newer ones, our policy didn't change, so a few of them submitted occasionally get approved. I personally despise their existence in our resource section, so does Paladon, but we don't have rules that prevent people from submitting them.

They're usefull ...
But so are the wow-models.
I think we should ban the wow-icons >.<
unless blizzard allows us to use them ofcourse...

Sorry misread; so there should be a rule about it before i start uploading ^^

I've given in a proposal for rule modification a while ago (that would also sort out CnPs), it's still in discussion I believe.

Blizzard did an official release of many of the WoW icons, so they are legit.
